Brenda Song is Returning to Disney Channel for New Role

OG Disney actress, Brenda Song, recently announced that she will be returning to Disney Channel for a new role!

Brenda Song celebrated her 31st birthday at the Disneyland Resort this week. During her trip, Brenda took a cute photo in front of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride to announce her lead voice role in “Amphibia”. This new series is an animated comedy that will premiere this summer on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

“Amphibia” is in production now! Song plays Anne Boonchuy, a 13-year-old fearless teen. Anne is magically transported to a rural marshland full of frog-people called Amphibia.

Brenda Song previously starred at London Tipton in the hit series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”. Additionally, she appeared in the spin-offs “The Suite Life on Deck” and “The Suite Life Movie”. Lastly, Brenda also took the lead in “Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior” and “Stuck in the Suburbs” – just to name a few.

  1. Seeing this picture makes me really miss Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride in Magic Kingdom! 🙁 I loved Brenda Song in Suite Life of Zack & Cody!! Amphibia sounds so cute–reminds me of Princess & the Frog, because the frogs kind of acted like people. #DisneyVacayGiveaway
