Booking Window Dates Revealed for New Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort have been receiving a significant upgrade, with the previous cabins being replaced with upgraded versions that will be part of Disney Vacation Club. The first wave of cabins are currently being installed, and we now have information on when guests can start booking stays in the new cabins!

The new cabins will sleep up to 6, with the following bedding options included in the 1-bedroom cabins:

• 1 Queen Bed
• 1 queen-size pull-down bed
• 1 Bunk Bed

With each cabin featuring the following amenities:

• 55″ Flat-Screen TV55”
• In room laptop safe
• Shower & Bathtub Combo
• Hair dryer, Iron & Ironing Board
• Dishes, glasses and utensils
• Pots and pans
• Casserole Dish
• Cooking Utensils
• Mixing Bowls
• Baking Sheet
• Can & Bottle Opener
• Corkscrew
• Microwave
• Refrigerator w/ Ice maker
• Coffee maker
• Toaster
• Dishwasher
• Dining Table & Chairs

• Balcony/Porch

The cabins are being replaced in waves, with the first wave confirmed to open on July 1st, 2024. Bookings will begin for new cabins on the following dates:

• March 19 for Disney Vacation Club members (cabins start at 55 points for DVC members)
• March 20 for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders looking to book a room via cash
• March 21 for all other Walt Disney World guests
