'Body of Proof: The Complete Second Season' Coming Home September 18, 2012

Dana Delany is back as Dr. Megan Hunt, the brilliant Philadelphia medical examiner, in ‘Body of Proof: The Complete Second Season’. Follow Dr. Hunt as she helps solve crimes in the city, using her expertise that no one else around her has. The show has been a huge success for ABC, even after middling ratings its first season. But the show gained a following in its second season and has managed to become another solid show in ABC’s prime time slot. So I’m sure fans of the series will be excited to see that ‘Body of Proof’ is coming home September 18, in this complete second season DVD box set.

This new season box set will feature all twenty episodes of the second season over four discs. It also features quite a slew of new special features, including:

  • The Design of Body of Proof: Living Spaces – An exciting opportunity to see the sleek design of the hit series’ set, this cool special feature that gives audiences a cool inside look at the show’s medical examiner’s office.
  • Bodies of Body of Proof – Fans will enjoy an inside look at how the team makes dead bodies look so real.
  • The Stunt Work of Body of Proof: Taking the Plunge – An exclusive look at the stunt team in action, leaping off the balcony of a hotel, capturing the feeling of taking the plunge.
  • The Stunt Work of Body of Proof: Playing With Fire – Another exciting exclusive look into the work of the stunt team, this feature follows the production team’s careful preparation to blow up a house to get the perfect shot.
  • The Stunt Work of Body of Proof: Prepping the Stunt (Part 1) – In the first of a two-part series, fans get an inside look at how the team plans and executes a major show stunt.
  • The Stunt Work of Body of Proof: Collision Course (Part 2) – Fans will join the stunt team for a closer look as all of their preparation is put into action.
  • The Fashion of Body of Proof – A fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the medical examiner’s costumes.
  • Body of Goofs – Fans will have a chance to join in on the laughs with a never before seen blooper reel of hilarious moments that the editors couldn’t resist sharing.
  • Outbreak: Webisodes – This series of webisodes follows investigative reporters uncovering an outbreak of an infectious disease.
This looks to be an excellent set for fans of the series, and I’m sure they’re going to be very happy with it. I’m definitely excited to revisit this second season before season three begins.
