Bob Iger Would LOVE to Be Able to do More with Marvel at the Theme Parks
During the shareholder meeting today, Disney CEO Bob Iger said he’d love to do more with Marvel at the theme parks.

While Iger shared he would love to do more, he didn’t give any specifics or comment further. He said, “We certainly would love to be able to do more with Marvel in our parks, but I’ll leave it at that.”
Universal currently has the theme park rights to Marvel on the east coast so Disney’s Florida theme park has no Marvel characters. Disney was able to add Guardians of the Galaxy offerings to Walt Disney World because the Guardians do not fall under the Avengers umbrella as pertaining to the terms of the contract.
On the west coast, Disney California Adventure has a whole Avengers Campus with characters, dining, and a ride! Guests visiting the land can meet their favorite Marvel character, be trained by the Dora Milaje, and shoot webs with Spider-Man. One of our favorite things to do is to dine at Pym Test Kitchen as well.
