Disney Blizzard Beach Closed Starting Thursday due to Cold Temps

Disney’s Blizzard Beach, one of the water parks at Walt Disney World, will be closed starting Thursday December 28 due to cold temperatures.

The Walt Disney World calendar now shows that Disney’s Blizzard Beach will be closed from December 28 through December 31. The water parks typically only close due to cold weather and temperatures. Blizzard Beach is open today, December 27, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Weather apps and sites are showing the temperatures from Thursday to Sunday will range from highs of 58 to 64 degrees and lows between 43 and 55 degrees. Those are pretty chilly temperatures for central Florida.

The park is scheduled to reopen on January 1, 2024. Keep an eye on the weather and the Disney World site as the park could be closed again.
