Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the fast-paced coaster in Frontierland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, is a classic ride that is a favorite for many. The ride has many twists and turns and a couple of small drops to give even the tinier guests a sense of thrill. Still, even the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” needs touch-ups every once in a while!
From May 4 to May 21 the Walt Disney World website states that there are no times available for the ride. This must mean that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will have some refurbishments during the month of May.
The regular hours are on the website for May 22 so that should be when the ride opens back up. Before we know it, we will be back to riding the new and improved Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in no time!
