Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disneyland will be closing for refurbishment this April! The closure begins April 3, 2023.

The Disneyland park calendar currently only goes through April 3, so we don’t have a reopening date for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Chances are this closure will be for regular maintenance.
There are quite a few other closures in the Disneyland park right now. Indiana Jones Adventure is closed and will be through at least April 3. French Market restaurant is currently closed while it is rethemed to Tiana’s Palace.
Keep this closure in mind if you plan to visit Disneyland this spring!
