For a limited time at the Tree of Life Awakenings, you can experience the wonder of the Lion King and the story of Mufusa. Mystical animal images and a new musical score tell the story of Mufasa’s unlikely rise to become the beloved king of the Pride Lands.

Disney Live Entertainment shared a behind the scenes look at the making of the show on Instagram recently.

In this behind-the-scenes glimpse with Lauren Cardella, we witness the meticulous effort involved in projecting stunning visuals onto the iconic Walt Disney World sphere. This approximately one-and-a-half-minute clip showcases the dedication of visual effects designers and animators like Lauren, who, alongside other Disney Live Entertainment cast members, toil through the early morning hours to perfect the awe-inspiring effects that bring the story of Mufasa to life.

The team meticulously adjusts color, saturation, and other parameters to ensure the images appear flawlessly for guests, capturing the raw emotion and power of these unforgettable moments. This intimate look reveals the hands-on nature of these productions and the paramount importance of meticulous fine-tuning for the creative team.
