Walt Disney World has just announced that Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be closed to undergo a renovation this summer. The very popular spot that features both a table service restaurant and a to-go counter will temporarily close from August to December 2019. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop will reopen late winter of this year.
A satellite location will be available to guests wishing to enjoy a delicious ice cream while the renovation is taking place. Guests staying at the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts may also visit Ale & Compass, Beach Club Marketplace, Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill, and the The Market at Ale & Compass for additional dining and dessert options.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop will return with the classic guest favorites like flavored sodas, milkshakes, “hot off the grill” items, and the beloved Kitchen Sink. The renovated restaurant will offer a new and improved experience for those dining there.
Guests can still make dining reservations for Beaches & Cream for all dates until August 5th, 2019. Reservations can be made on the Walt Disney World Resort website or by calling 407-939-3463.
