The Tune-In Lounge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has finally brought back bar seating in May 2024! It’s been a journey since the lounge reopened in 2021 with no seating at all. While some chairs returned shortly after, they weren’t the familiar bar stools. In 2022, Disney added a foot bar to the counter to accommodate those who couldn’t stand for long periods. Now, guests can enjoy the full experience, perching on bar stools and soaking up the 1950s atmosphere.
These sleek chairs boast a modern take on the classic design. The brown legs with a subtle outward slant provide a touch of elegance, while the golden foot bars add a touch of glamour. The comfortable red seats are upholstered with a textured back design, offering both style and support. This replaces the previous chairs, which featured straight legs and a simpler red upholstery.
Tucked away in the charming Echo Lake area is the Tune-In Lounge, a hidden gem that seamlessly connects to 50’s Prime Time Cafe. While it sometimes serves as the restaurant’s waiting area, the Tune-In Lounge shines as a fantastic spot in its own right.
Step back in time to the 1950s and unwind in this nostalgic setting. Sip on classic cocktails – some shared with 50’s Prime Time – alongside a selection of beers and wines. The lounge opens its doors daily at 10:45 AM, offering an earlier option for those eager to embrace the retro vibes.
