The average number of COVID-19 Cases in Florida has dropped to their lowest number since July at a reported 2,505 new cases according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
As of Wednesday, 3,153 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Florida, a 25% decrease from the previous week but slightly more than the 3,307 hospitalized on Tuesday according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Take a look at the latest statistics:
Florida’s positivity rate has been declining since August, a further indication the state may have passed the peak of the delta variant surge.
In Orlando theme parks like Disney World and Universal Orlando both still have mask mandates in place for guests on all indoor attractions, transportation, and inside of restaurants.
With winter coming we hope these numbers continue to trend downward but only time will tell.
