The Disneyland Resort parks are still closed, but Avengers Campus construction has restarted! Construction on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has also continued.
In line with direction from government and health officials, essential work will be performed periodically by limited crews on Avengers Campus, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and other projects at the Disneyland resort.
The limited construction gives us hope that the Disneyland Resort is making progress and preparing for eventually reopening. The limited crews will be weather protecting Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure and receiving steel deliveries for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland.
The construction crews will include some Disneyland employees, Walt Disney Imagineering staff, and third party contractors.
Some projects in Downtown Disney have also resumed. The Sanuk sandal store and one of the Starbucks coffee shops had projects in the works before the resort was closed due to the coronavirus.
Work on Haunted Mansion, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, King Arthur Carousel, and the Disneyland Hub refurbishments has not resumed yet.
