Fall Desserts Disney Springs

Fall is in the air and, consequently, on our plates. Irresistible flavors of cinnamon apple and pumpkin spice have found their way back into homes and restaurants everywhere, and we love it! One of our favorite spots to pick up sweet treats is Disney Springs; with a variety of specialty shops and restaurants, there is no end of options when it comes to autumnal seasonal desserts. Here are a few of the standouts.

When it comes to fancy desserts, Amorette’s Patisserie takes the cake. Or, in this case, the crème brûlée. This fall, guests will find a Pumpkin Crème Brûlée there, that starts off with pumpkin custard, and is layered with torched sugar, candied pecans, a pumpkin sable cookie, and chocolate garnish. An elegant confection for the pumpkin-lovers out there.

If cake is on the menu but pumpkin isn’t, Erin McKenna’s Bakery is the place to be. They’re serving up a gluten-free, vegan Caramel Apple Medley. It’s a vanilla cake with caramel, baked apples, and cinnamon mousse, all topped with sugar crystals. Perfect for those with dietary restrictions who still want to satisfy their sweet tooth!

When speaking of cake, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention cupcakes. And that means Sprinkles! We’ve definitely spotted a Pumpkin Spice Cupcake, but if visitors want to buy in bulk (and when it comes to cupcakes, who doesn’t?) there’s the BOO Box. Customers who select this option will be sure to get a variety, including Vanilla, Milk Chocolate, Red Velvet, Black & White, and Pumpkin. Something for everyone to share or for just one someone who loves cupcakes!

Fall in Florida doesn’t necessarily mean cooler weather, which makes eating ice cream completely justifiable! But in all honesty, Vivoli il Gelato is serving some desserts that would make people line up even if it was snowing. There’s Pumpkin Cannoli (as delicious as it sounds) or a Jack-O-Lantern Float, made of orange Fanta, vanilla gelato, whipped cream, and sprinkles. But how to choose between the two? Better just get both.

Recently it seems Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill can’t help but be on our radar. They’ve been presenting some monster sundaes that give us a sugar coma just looking at them, but it’s totally worth it! Stop by and try the Peanut Butter Wafer Sundae or the returning Campfire Sundae. Both are topped with an entire piece of cake, so be prepared to do some serious eating! Either that or bring five of your close friends.

Moving on to Yesake, don’t be surprised to find fall flavors even there! Pumpkin Spice Boba Tea or Spiced Kabocha are the perfect fall drink for warm weather. The Kabocha Pumpkin Bun is everything it sounds like it is: pumpkin cream, cinnamon, and even a little cranberry, all wrapped in a bun; almost like a pumpkin pie on the go!

Churros are synonymous with Disney, so we’re glad they weren’t left out of the pumpkin loop. Head over to Sunshine Churros (either on the West Side or at the Marketplace) to try out the Pumpkin Spice Churro, filled with cream cheese. Portable and sweet.

If you’re looking for an autumn treat but are stuck on chocolate, Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop is the place to go. Their fall collection includes flavors such as Caramel Pumpkin Spice, and Milk Caramel squares. You can never go wrong with chocolate.

And speaking of chocolate, why not stop by the Ganachery and take some home? There are Pumpkin Spice or Chai Tea flavored specialty chocolates, or for something to sip on as you walk about, the Maple Bourbon Hot Ganache topped with bacon is the perfect indulgent treat.

Maybe you like the sound of all these desserts, but you’re a Disney purist at heart. You can still find the sugary snack of your dreams over at the Candy Cauldron or at Goofy’s Candy Co. They’re both serving up delicious Disney snacks that have had a special Halloween makeover and are easily packaged to take home. For example: Mummy Rice Krispy Treats or Jack Skellington specialty apples. Whatever you choose is sure to ooze Disney magic and be Instagram-worthy.

For the serious foodies out there, the WonderFall Flavors self-guided tour at Disney Springs is certainly worth checking out. But no matter what you do, make sure to get down and try some of these treats before November 4th; that’s when we’ll have to say goodbye to them until next year!
