Delta Employee Dies After Ground Incident at Orlando International Airport
A Delta Air Lines employee has died following a tragic ground incident at Orlando International Airport late Thursday night.
According to officials, the incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. on May 7 near Gate 78. The Federal Aviation Administration reported that a tug, a vehicle used to move aircraft, struck a jet bridge next to a plane with passengers on board. The Ninth Circuit Medical Examiner’s Office later determined the employee’s death was accidental and caused by multiple blunt impact injuries.
