Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, is finally planning to reopen! Because of Hawaii’s new pre-test program that is set to begin next month, Aulani is planning a phased reopening to start November 1st.
Just like other Disney destinations that have re-opened, Aulani will be using a measured approach that focuses on the health and safety of guests, cast and community.
This gradual, phased approach to reopening considers the guidance of local and national government and health authorities, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the U.S. Travel Association and Disney’s team of health and safety experts. This deliberate approach allows Disney to evaluate and adjust along the way, as circumstances and the recommendations of health authorities evolve.
Aulani will be making resources available to guests regarding new policies once they are ready.
To provide additional flexibility, guests may cancel their Aulani resort reservations up to 24 hours prior to their arrival date for stays through May 20, 2021 without Disney-imposed cancellation fees. This is a temporary modification to the Resort cancellation and refund policy and applies to both “room only” bookings and Walt Disney Travel Company vacation packages.
