This question comes from Emery, who asks: “Is the Food and Wine Festival free or does it cost money to eat there? Can you use meal credits from the deluxe meal plan?
Emery, your park ticket will get you into the Food & Wine Festival, but you’ll have to pay for your food once you’re there. Most food portions are similar to tapas, or “small plates,” in size, although some are larger. Figure on at least a few items to make a meal, although smaller appetites might be satistified with less.
You can use snack creditsfor any non-alcoholic food item at the kiosks at the Food and Wine Festival, which works out very well since most WDW snacks run about $3, whereas items at Food and Wine run around $5 to $7. You won’t be able to use your counter service credits, nor will you be able to use your dining plan credits to purchase admission to demonstrations or events like Party for the Senses.
