Arrest made in NYC after Rick Moranis Attack. On the morning of October 1st, actor Rick Moranis was out for a walk in the Upper West Side of NYC when he was struck by an unprovoked assailant near 70th Street. It is unknown what caused this individual to attack the recently returned actor. Moranis then went to the hospital and reportedly complained about feeling pain in his head, hip and back.

Rick Moranis’ fans are outraged online at the pointless attack, and the news caught the attention of Marvel stars Chris Evan (Captain America) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool). Fans have been awaiting news regarding the unprovoked assault and it was announced this week that an arrest has been made in connect to the attack.

NYPD News shared, “Thanks to an eagle-eyed sergeant from @NYPDTransit, the suspect has been apprehended and charged.”
