If you were hoping to grab a bubble waffle at Disney Springs this weekend, you’re out of luck. AristoCrêpes has closed and will not reopen until some changes have been made. The kiosk is expected to undergo a name and menu change. What do you think will take its place?

AristoCrêpes has been open since 2016 and has often experimented with avant-garde fillings for crêpes, also serving up some intensely sweet bubble waffles. While AristoCrêpes has struggled with a lack of popularity, the nearby Marketplace Snacks can’t keep up with demand. The Dole Whip crowds will be happy to know that the renamed location will likely be carrying some of the same items as Marketplace Snacks. That’s good news for anyone who hates waiting in line, but many will still miss the Banana Chocolate Hazelnut Crêpe that was once served at the kiosk.

If you simply must have a crêpe during your stay at Walt Disney World, you can still satisfy your craving at Epcot’s newly-opened La Crêperie de Paris. This cozy restaurant serves both sweet crêpes and savory galettes, and with the added charm of being located in the France Pavilion, it is decidedly well-situated. As a table service restaurant, we hope to see it stick around for much longer than AristoCrêpes was able to.
