App Review - Disney World Dining Planner

WDW Facts has a new app out – Disney World Dining Planner – free in the apple store and $1.60 for us Android users.

This new app has a list of all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World, organized by location.  This includes all restaurants in the theme parks, water parks, resorts, and even Downtown Disney.

Each restaurant lists the hours, meals available, and full menus.  Need to know what quick service restaurants are in the World Showcase?  Easy!  Plus, you can find if the Disney Dining Plan is accepted, as well as the Tables in Wonderland discount, and gives a general price idea.  Also, they give their recommendations on whether or not you need reservations for a particular restaurant.

Though this app has no access to the availability of Disney reservations,  in conjunction with the free app Mobile Magic, you can check which restaurants have reservations available then check the menus before you decide.  Plus, this app also allows you to create a schedule of your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR’s).   Plug in the date and time, then enter your reservation and you’ll be ready to go if you ever actually need your reservation number.

If you’re scrolling through the menus or seeing some of our favorite snack ideas, you can find the restaurant and bookmark the page to find later.

All in all, this is another great app for Disney planners (0r the Disney obsessed).  Even re-reading the menus made me hungry and excited for future dining experiences.

  1. How is everybody finding this? I’m new too the iPhone but I too can only find Ricky Mills free app. Please help me figure out how to get this.

  2. Just got it and I love being able to pull it up and look through it. Does anyone know when the Mobile Magic App will be available for Verizon iPhone? I heard this fall but nothing recently.

  3. What the app is called? We will be able to reserved restaurant with this app? I also want to win a copy of lion King

  4. Tried to find this app in the apple store but the only free Dining App I found was a lite version by Ricky Mills. Have to pay to get the hotels & water park menus. Is this the app you’re talking about?

  5. I wish I had known about this app. while we were at WDW! Chip – this is Lisa we met the WCC the night you guys were eating there! Our meal was delicious – we all got the “skillet”…it was way to much food but the ribs and brisket were great!

We had always wanted to eat at LeCellier but have never been able to get a reservation – well this trip we were able to get reservations so that was the meal i had been anticipating for 6 mths! i can’t adequately express how disappointed we were with this meal. The cheese soup and pretzel bread were absolutely AMAZING!!!! I wish we had stopped there! The filet was raw, the salmon was bland and the ribeye was dry! We paid an very high price for this mediocre/subpar meal! We complained to the manager about the raw steak and she only offered to put the same steak back on the grill – no replacement, no free dessert, and no reduction in the price…..not cool for a restaurant that’s suppose to be so exclusive!

i am going to buy this app just so I can review LeCellier! LOL!

Now…..does that count as an entry? LOL!

  6. thank you for this info. it is so ironic that your had an article about this app. I am planning a disney world trip for my family in April. it just so happens that my daughter just got an ipod touch for her birthday and this weekend i will be able to make our dining reservations. I am happy to have another research method for making our meal plans the most memorable and enjoyable.

  7. This might be the app I have on my Iphone. Its called WDW Dining. I really like it. I put in all my ADR info so I have it right there on my phone when I need it and it was so much easier for my husband to look and see where he might want to eat.
