Annual Passholder and DVC Previews Announced for New Muppets Coaster

Disney Teases Exclusive Previews for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

The countdown to the grand opening on May 26th is officially on, but some lucky guests won’t have to wait quite that long. Disney has confirmed that special preview opportunities are on the way for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members.

While specific dates and registration details haven’t been released just yet, this is the news many have been waiting for. These previews will offer an exclusive first look at the “Muppet-ized” G-Force Records and the high-speed dash through Hollywood before the general public.

The reimagined attraction officially opens to all guests on the day after Memorial Day. However, history tells us these previews typically take place in the weeks leading up to the grand opening.

During the previews, eligible guests will be among the first to see the new pre-show featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Scooter, and to experience the “L.I.M.O.” ride vehicles souped up by Muppet Labs. It’s also the first chance to hear the new rotating setlist, which features covers of classic hits like “Song 2,” “Born To Be Wild,” and “Love Rollercoaster.”

For Annual Passholders and DVC Members, these previews usually require a pre-registered time slot and can fill up incredibly fast.

• Annual Passholders: Keep a close eye on your email and the “The Passholder Buzz” section of the My Disney Experience app.
• DVC Members: Ensure your contact information is up to date on the Disney Vacation Club website to receive the registration link as soon as it goes live.
• Cast Members: Check the Hub for upcoming sign-up windows and departmental preview schedules.

The “Muppet-ized” Experience Beyond the ride itself, these previews will allow guests to spend time in the new queue, which is reportedly filled with props from Muppet-Vision 3D and hilarious “punny” concert posters for other Muppet acts. With the celebrity cameo list including stars like “Weird Al” Yankovic and John Stamos, there will be plenty of details to spot even before you board the limo.
