Anna is Greeting Guests in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion

Anna Meet-and-Greet

Anna’s got new digs in Arendelle! The Queen has recently started greeting guests in a new spot at Epcot. It’s located in Norway and it gives her some extra social distance.

Traditionally, Anna and Elsa’s meet-and-greets occur in an area specifically reserved for them. It’s the Royal Sommerhus in Epcot’s Norway, located near Frozen Ever After. Guests stand in line to meet each sister individually but in the same room. Since Frozen 2 came out, they have had a wardrobe update. Both are in their final outfits from the new film.

Since Epcot reopened post-lockdown, the closeup version of meet-and-greets has been out of the question. Thankfully, Disney had some great ideas about helping kids see some of their favorite characters. There are new character cavalcades, which both Anna and Elsa take part in. Anna rides in a horse-drawn carriage, while Elsa leads the way on foot. The wonderful Cast Members have also arranged for each sister to take a turn in a fenced-off area of Norway to greet fans. This way little princes and princesses can still get a well-angled photo with a real Disney princess.

There is no set time that we know Anna will be out in Norway. As is the case with cavalcades, Disney is likely trying to avoid large crowds gathering. But keep watching the next time you’re in Norway and you may just catch Queen Anna herself! Snap a picture on your way to grab some lefse and be glad you got to see her for the first time in forever!
