Since making its debut in May of 2016, the Tree of Life Awakenings show has succeeded in bringing life after dark, to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. The visually stunning nighttime show is projected on the Tree of Life every 10 minutes, beginning at sundown.
Currently guests can only view the show from the front of the Tree of Life, which leaves something to be desired along the backside of the tree. Recently, our very own Chip spotted new projectors installed down the pathway between Africa and Asia. Disney has yet to comment on the new projectors located behind the Tree of Life.
With the debut of the Rivers of Light nighttime show this Spring, and the much-anticipated Pandora – The World of Avatar, opening at the end of this month; it’s possible Disney is preparing an expansion for the Tree of Life Awakenings.
