Animal lovers visiting Walt Disney World this month can share their holiday spirit with pets in need by donating to the Animal Angel Tree campaign at Best Friends Pet Care. All donations will benefit Harbor House of Central Florida’s Paws for Peace Kennel and Pet Rescue by Judy of Sanford.
Best Friends has set up an Animal Angel Tree in the lobby of its pet care center at 2510 Bonnet Creek Parkway, which is located on the Walt Disney World Resort property. The tree is decorated with paper ornaments featuring photos and information about needy dogs and cats. Pet lovers can call to select a card from the tree and donate from the shelter’s wish list for that dog or cat.
Best Friends Pet Care offers boarding, grooming and doggy day camp at Walt Disney World and at 41 other locations across the U.S. The Animal Angel Tree campaign is one way the company gives back to the community. Since the campaign began, it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of food, toys and pet care products for more than 100 different shelters and rescues across the U.S. For more information visit www.bestfriendspetcare.com.
