Spider-Man: No Way Home has been in theaters for nearly a month and now it is FINALLY time to talk about the big reveal and return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man! Marvel fans went wild in theaters when the friendly neighborhood Spider-Men returned to help Tom Holland’s Peter through some of his toughest battles to date and to help the villains they have gathered over the years.
One of the saddest facts about keeping this secret was that Maguire and Garfield were not on the guest list for the Spider-Man world premieres to help maintain the secret until opening night, but don’t worry! The pair secretly attended a premiere night showing of the film just to see the initial reaction of fans, but wound up attending the entire screening after being overwhelmed with gratitude for the homecoming of their characters.

Garfield himself confirmed the story in an interview with ET Online and added a few more details!
“I snuck into a theater on opening night and just watched with my baseball cap on and my mask. In fact, I was also with Tobey, me and Tobey snuck into a theater together and no one knew we were there. It was just a really beautiful thing to share together. And to find a brotherhood with Tobey as well, and with Tom, and the fact that we do share a very unique experience.”
