The Disneyland Resort has now been closed since March 14th due to the pandemic our nation is facing. However, the resort wants to make sure that past and future guests know that there is still magic beyond the gates. A symbol of hope still remains inside Disneyland park for all to see.
As we are reminded daily of how distancing ourselves is for the best, it can difficult to not to feel a bit down. The Disneyland Resort wants Disney fans all over the world to know that the magic is not lost. During the park’s closure, cast members still continue to raise the American flag daily. The flag flies high above Main Street, U.S.A as a symbol of hope and inspiration for all. In a video released by the resort, you can see these cast members keeping this important tradition alive and well.
This video of the American flag at the Disneyland Resort is part of Disney’s new Magic Moments series. On the resort’s Facebook page, you can see a virtual ride through video of the “it’s a small world” attraction. You can also catch a glimpse of the new Magic Happens Parade. While the parks still remain closed for the time being, we can hope to see more from the #DisneyMagicMoments series and from the parks around the world.
No matter which park and resort you consider home, we hope we can continue to spread a little magic and pixie dust your way. We hope you are staying safe and that us here at Chip & Company can bring a smile to your face.
