Indiana Jones Films Removed from Disney+, Now Streaming on Paramount+
In a move that may surprise some fans, four of the five Indiana Jones films have been removed from the Disney+ streaming service. As of October 2024, only the most recent installment, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” remains available on Disney+.

The first four films in the franchise, “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “The Temple of Doom,” “The Last Crusade,” and “The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” have now found a new streaming home on Paramount+.
This shift is due to pre-existing distribution agreements with Paramount Pictures, which handled the distribution of the initial four films. While Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the rights holder to the Indiana Jones franchise, in 2012, the deal did not negate Paramount’s distribution agreements.
Disney had struck a temporary agreement with Paramount to secure streaming rights for the first four films leading up to the release of “Dial of Destiny” in June 2023. This agreement has reportedly expired as of October 1, 2024, reverting the streaming rights back to Paramount.
Fans hoping to revisit the earlier adventures of Indiana Jones will now need to access them through Paramount+. Meanwhile, “Dial of Destiny,” the final chapter in the franchise according to Harrison Ford, remains exclusively available on Disney+.
