All 21 Disney Movies Premiering in 2021. 2020 has been a disappointing year for moviegoers, but get ready for some much needed entertainment coming to theaters in 2021! Check out all 21 films coming from Disney, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios and more in the coming year:
“The King’s Man” — February 12
“As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them.”
“Everybody’s Talking About Jaime” — February 26
“Jamie is 16 and he doesn’t quite fit in. He is terrified about the future but supported by his loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.”
“Antlers” — February 19
“In an isolated Oregon town, a middle-school teacher and her sheriff brother become embroiled with her enigmatic student, whose dark secrets lead to terrifying encounters with a legendary ancestral creature who came before them.”
“Raya and the Last Dragon” — March 12
“Raya is a lone warrior from Kumandra, a kingdom where dragons and humans once lived in harmony. But all of the dragons except one disappeared when they sacrificed themselves to save humanity from an evil force. When that dark threat returns 500 years later, Raya goes out in search of the last dragon to bring unity back to the world.”
“Bob’s Burgers” — April 9
“The further adventures of hamburger restaurateur Bob Belcher and his quirky family.”
“Ron’s Gone Wrong” — April 23
“Set in a world where walking, talking, digitally connected bots have become children’s best friends, Ron’s Gone Wrong tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who finds that his robot buddy doesn’t quite work.”
“Black Widow” — May 7
“The film takes place between the events of 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War” and 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War” as Natasha Romanoff reunites with some old comrades to take down a mysterious villain named Taskmaster.”
“Cruella” — May 28
“Cruella de Vil tries to get her hands on Dalmatian puppies.”
“Luca” — June 18
“Luca centers on a young boy living on the Italian Riviera, who shares adventures with his newfound best friend. But a dark secret about his true identity (he is a sea monster from another world just below the water’s surface) seeks to threaten that bond.”
“Shang Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings” — July 9
“Superhero Shang-Chi takes on the forces of evil.”
“Jungle Cruise” — July 30
“Dr. Lily Houghton enlists the aid of wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff to take her down the Amazon in his ramshackle boat. Together, they search for an ancient tree that holds the power to heal — a discovery that will change the future of medicine.”
“Deep Water” — August 13
“A well-to-do husband who allows his wife to have affairs in order to avoid a divorce becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers.”
“The Beatles: Get Back” — August 27
“Filmmaker Peter Jackson presents restored, never-before-seen footage of the Beatles during their recording sessions of the album “Let It Be.””
“The Last Duel” — October 15
“A woman claims she’s been raped by her husband’s best friend, Jean de Carrouges. But when no one believes her accusation, her husband challenges his friend to a duel, the last legally sanctioned duel in the country’s history.”
“Eternals” — November 5
“The saga of the Eternals, a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations.”
“West Side Story” — December 10
“A musical in which a modern day Romeo and Juliet are involved in New York street gangs. On the harsh streets of the upper west side, two gangs battle for control of the turf. The situation becomes complicated when a gang members falls in love with a rival’s sister.”
Two Untitled 20th Century Studio Films
Disney currently has 2 untitled 20th Century Studio films slated for release on September 10, 2021 and December 3, 2021. A rumored title for one of these dates is Amy Adams’ The Woman in the Window.
Untitled live-action Disney movie — TBD
December 17 is currently slated for an untitled live-action Disney film, but we would bet dollars to dinglehoppers it’s the live-action The Little Mermaid!
“The French Dispatch” — TBD
“The staff of a European publication decides to publish a memorial edition highlighting the three best stories from the last decade: an artist sentenced to life imprisonment, student riots, and a kidnapping resolved by a chef.”
