Disney’s upcoming movie, ALEXANDER and the Terrible, Horrible, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY is based on the book by one of my favorite children’s authors, Judith Viorst. The story is about a young boy of 11 named Alexander (played by Ed Oxenbould) who has one of those days. For Alexander, the day which goes from no good to very bad to terrible and ends in horrible, has him thinking he is the only one in the world who this is happening to. But, apparently it runs in the family because every one is having one of those days. Starting his bad day with a piece of gum stuck in his hair, Alexander moves from one disaster to another with no sympathy or understanding from his family. The family is too busy trying to deal with and take care of all the terrible, horrible things going on in each of their days.
The movie comes out October 10, 2014 and stars Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Dylan Minnette , Kerris Dorsey, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bella Thorne . Directed by Miguel Arteta and Produced by Shawn Levy, Lisa Henson and Dan Levine, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is destined to be another great movie for the Walt Disney Company. Don’t miss it in theatres this Fall.
