Affection Section In Disney’s Animal Kingdom Reopening On November 15

Great news animal lovers! The Affection Section petting zoo at Rafiki’s Planet Watch is reopening!

Beginning November 15, the area will be open with a limited number of guests to meet the goats, sheep and other family-friendly wildlife. We are sure they will be very happy to welcome guests again.

The Affection Section will be following enhanced safety guidelines from the CDC and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Only a limited number of guests will be admitted at the same time to make sure they maintain at least 6 feet apart.

Hand washing stations will be available at the entrance and exit of the petting zoo, and guest must be wearing their face coverings at all times.

So next time you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, don’t forget to take a train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch and stop by the affection section!
