Aerial Views of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Walt Disney World

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World is months away from opening, but as you can see from these fantastic aerial shots from @bioreconstruct on Twitter they are getting very close to the finish. The official opening date was moved up from late fall 2019 to August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This has come with the announcement that they will be opening it in two phases so that we can get our Star Wars fix even earlier than before. Take a look at more of the progress below in these fantastic shots from @bioreconstruct on Twitter.

Another aerial view of the Millennium Falcon and a portion of Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. It is so close! I am very excited to see it all. Photo from @bioreconstruct on Twitter. The ride is described as “taking a ride in the famous cockpit of the Millennium Falcon on a daring flight—and whether you’re a pilot, engineer or gunner, every role is crucial. The engines rumble as the Millennium Falcon blasts off, pushing you and your crew back into your seats when you jump into hyperspace towards adventure. Along the way you’ll face danger at every turn. Will your mission succeed or fail? It’s up to you—find out if you have what it takes to outmaneuver the odds aboard the Millennium Falcon.”- Disney
