Universal’s Epic Universe is Nearing Completion, and It’s Stunning!

The excitement surrounding Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe continues to build as construction progresses rapidly on the highly anticipated new theme park, slated to open in May 2025. Thanks to the latest aerial images from X user @bioreconstruct, we now have a stunning bird’s-eye view of the park’s progress. These photos showcase the incredible scope of the project and give fans a sneak peek at the incredible attractions and features coming to Epic Universe.

The first image highlights the entrance plaza, visible in the bottom left corner of the frame, leading directly into the Celestial Park hub. From this vantage point, you can see Super Nintendo World on the left of the entrance plaza, with its vibrant and colorful design taking shape. On the right, the How to Train Your Dragon Land is making steady progress. Further back in the image, the foreboding village of the Dark Universe land catches the eye, while the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic dominates the upper right. Towering at the top of the map is the Helios Grand Hotel, which appears nearly ready to welcome its first guests.

The second image zooms in on some of the park’s most exciting areas. Super Nintendo World continues to evolve, with bright, colorful shapes being added to the land’s exterior walls, promising an immersive experience straight out of a video game. Over in the How to Train Your Dragon Land, banners have been added to attractions like Dragon Racer’s Rally and Fyre Drill, enhancing the land’s theming. Meanwhile, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic now features new canopies that add to its immersive look, hinting at the magic awaiting visitors inside.

The third photo provides a closer view of the entrance plaza, which showcases the gorgeous Chronos Tower centerpiece displaying medallions representing each land within the park. A newly completed road is also visible, designed to provide guest access to the Stella Nova Resort, one of three Epic Universe resort hotels set to open in just a few weeks.

These aerial views underscore the amazing progress Universal has made on Epic Universe, which has risen from the ground in just four years of construction. With a blend of beloved franchises like Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon, and Super Nintendo World, along with original lands like Dark Universe which features classic Universal Monsters and Celestial Park, the park promises to be a must-visit destination for theme park enthusiasts worldwide.
