We are saddened to report that up-and-coming South Korean actress Kim Mi-soo has passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 29. Kim was best known for her work on the international Disney+ series “Snowdrop” as well as her roles in Lipstick Revolution, Kyungmi’s World, and more. Mi-soo was set to join another Disney+ series named Kiss Six Sense, which has halted production following the news of her passing.
Kim Mi-soo’s agency, Landscape, shared a statement with the news of her passing and asked fans and outlets to respect the family’s privacy as they mourn Kim’s death. A translation of the statement reads,
“The bereaved family is currently very heartbroken by the sudden mournful news. The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness. We sincerely ask you to refrain from making up rumors or speculative reports so that the bereaved family, who are in shock and grief-stricken, can reverently commemorate the deceased. As per her family’s wishes, the funeral will be held quietly in private. Please wish for Kim Mi-soo to rest in peace, and once again, we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased.“
Our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends, and fans of Kim Mi-soo ?
