Actor Josh Gad Is Reading Books to Kids Online Every Night During Coronavirus Quarantines. Grab the tissues! Josh Gad has decided to read children’s books to families around the world via his Twitter page each night while either under quarantine or practicing social distancing during the outbreak of coronavirus.
The Frozen II and Beauty and the Beast star began with reading Olivia Goes to Venice and has kept the trend going with The Day the Crayons Quit, The Giving Tree, and Dr. Seuss: Horray for Diffendoofer Day and more. It seems Gad will continue the trend as long as is needed to keep spirits high and to help entertain families during this time. Josh also shares some fun insight into his admiration for the books he is reading and hilarious stories about his kids that they will be sure to roll their eyes at when they get older. Josh’s “Samantha?” Hat in the first video made us giggle up a storm, hehehehe.
Update Josh has decided to continue the #GadBookClub on weekdays, but will take weekends off to spend those nights with his family.

We absolutely LOVE this idea and are so happy to see entertainers doing what they love for the sake of their fans during a difficult time and expecting nothing in return. It is so refreshing to see in our newsfeed. We can’t wait to see what other stories are on the way!
Another way Josh is keeping his own family entertained is by introducing them to classic 80’s films, which he is also cataloging via his twitter account. Disney has also added Frozen II to Disney+ months earlier than expected to help keep families entertained at home.
Do you enjoy Josh’s bedtime stories? What other titles would you love to hear him read to his fans and their kids? How are you keeping your family entertained at home? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for all things Disney or updates on Josh’s storytelling!
