Universal Orlando announced inside a Tweet that the kid’s show A Day in the Park with Barney is permanently closed. This interactive sing-a-longwas shut down in August with some other attractions. Here’s the Tweet from Universal:
Yes, A Day in the Park with Barney has permanently closed at Universal Studios Florida.

The show is also no longer shown on the park map or in the app. A Day in the Park with Barney was located in Universal Studios near E.T.
A Day in the Park with Barney had Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop on stage daily, with imagination and help from Mr. or Mrs. Peek A Boo. There’s still no word on the Curios George Playground that is next to the theater.
For now, that area is still showing Temporarily closed. We will keep you informed with closures and if any news drops about what will be replacing Barney and friends.
