Young kids and tweens celebrate Black History Month by sharing personal anecdotes in a series of new “This Is Me” interstitials beginning FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1 on Disney Channel. Filmed at the Long Beach Boys & Girls Club, the interstitials feature youth sharing about their favorite heroes, sources of inspiration and dreams for the future.
“These interstitials are a great way for kids to celebrate Black History Month with their peers and share how their heroes continue to inspire and empower them to dream big,” said Ron Pomerantz, Vice President, Marketing and Creative, Disney Channel.
Geared towards 6-14 year-olds, the “This Is Me” series is designed to celebrate the uniqueness of every day kids and highlight aspects of their lives that have made them who they are today.
I personally love these little videos they show on commercial breaks and can’t wait to see more!
