Free Wi-Fi Internet access now available at Epcot

On the heels of Free Wi-fi being available in the Magic Kingdom Disney has released the hounds and opened up free Wi-fi Access at Epcot.

Available now the Wi-Fi service is complimentary, and can be accessed free of charge from any Wi-Fi device.

Watch for Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom to come next.

  1. I agree with Tara that I hope it doesn’t cut into family time. However, the upside is that you can change/check dining reservations, see the weather, and easily connect with friends/family without cutting into your own data charges. It actually makes it easier to for Disney promotion by guests.

  2. I think it’s a great idea…just hope it doesn’t cut into family time and you see parents ‘surfing’ instead of interacting with their kids. It’s nice to disconnect and enjoy the magic.

  3. Lol because this almost happened with my daughter :). She was happily wifi-ing (my own made-up word lol) and she was not looking where she was going. Luckily (or not) it was only me, her Mom, she bumped into :D.

  4. I’m a little worried about people walking around looking at their devices and running into each other. 😀

  5. Lesson learned : Should’ve booked my family’s trip for October 2012 instead of June 2012. If only my crystal ball had been just a bit more accurate…
