The Inaugural Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon will be run on a brand new half marathon course at the Walt Disney World Resort, and it will be run at night! Where else can you run a half marathon at night? Running through theme parks and world-class Disney entertainment along the way will make the miles fly by, but what could motivate you more than finishing inside Epcot® to an exclusive after-hours party inside the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival?

MICKEY’S HALLOWEEN FAMILY FUN RUN 5K

Start: Happy Parking Lot at Magic Kingdom® Park
Finish: West Beach outside of Magic Kingdom® Park
This 5K will take you on a one-of-a-kind Halloween themed course through the Magic Kingdom® Park. Adults, teens and tweens can be immersed in the fantasy of Halloween and dress up as their favorite character or villain! This is the ultimate race around the neighborhood – race to the finish to receive your “trick or treat bag of refreshments”. Don’t miss your opportunity to run on the only 5K course through Magic Kingdom® Park and the unforgettable finish on West Beach.
Mickey’s Halloween Family Fun Run 5K features:
- Only 5K course through Magic Kingdom® Park
- Halloween themed Disney entertainment on-course

Each participant’s Mickey’s Halloween Family Fun Run 5K registration includes:

*Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween-themed special event that requires a separate ticket to attend. During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and collect delicious candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom® Park. The ticket included with registration provides admission to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom® Park on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 7pm – 12am. Ticket will be distributed at Packet Pick-up for Mickey’s Halloween Family Fun Run 5K. Ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable. Event participation is not included with regular Theme Park admission. A separate ticket is required. Tickets are valid for entry only during the event time for the date purchased. All ticket holders for this event will be required to wear a wrist band.

Location: ESPN Wide World of Sports Track & Field Complex
Disney’s Kids’ Races will be hosted at ESPN Wide World of Sports Track & Field Complex. These races give your little running buddy the chance to earn his or her very own finisher medallion – just like mom or dad! Children ages 8 and under can participate in this festival of fun during race weekend. Space is limited.
Each participant’s $10 registration in Disney’s Kids’ Races includes:
- Race Registration
- Commemorative T-shirt
- Personalized Bib (Must register by September 3, 2010 for name to appear on bib)
- Trick-or-Treat bag of refreshments
- Commemorative finisher medallion
Disney’s Kids’ Races Age Groups:
- 12 months and under – Diaper Dash for crawlers
- 1 – 3 years old – 100m dash
- 4 – 6 years old – 200m dash
- 7 – 8 years old – 400m dash
