Disney XD's 'Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes' Cancelled; Replacement Show Coming in 2013

Fans of ‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’, sad news. Marvel has cancelled the much loved series, so season two will be it’s last. Rumors have been spreading recently that Marvel would be killing the show to bring it in house and make a new series, like what they did with ‘The Spectacular Spider-Man’ and ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’. This is sad news indeed, and I’m for one very disappointed. ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ is one of the best animated series is currently, what I consider one of the best animated series on television right now. Marvel is looking to launch ‘Avengers Assemble’ sometime in 2013, and while details are sketchy at best right now, the one thing we can see is that the line up will be very similar to the line up in the current Marvel film. The one exception is Falcon, who has not be interested in the Marvel films. While the art looks promising, I really am sad to see ‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ go, I’m really going to miss it. But I’ll give ‘Avengers Assemble’ a chance, and hope it gets the fun and excitement that ‘Earth’s Mightiest’ was bringing on a weekly basis.
