The ‘Desperate Housewives’ Come Home One Last Time on September 25, 2012

Fans of ABC’s ‘Desperate Housewives’ are in a very bittersweet place right now. Their favorite ladies from Wisteria Lane are finally leaving the airwaves this Sunday night, but fear not fans, it won’t be the last time you see them. Disney announced today that ‘Desperate Housewives: The Complete Eight and Final Season’ will be hitting shelves on August 12, 2012. For fans of the series, this is great news, because they’ll get to relive the final episodes of Susan, Lynette, Bree, and Gabrielle over and over again. DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES: The Complete Eighth and Final Season

Say goodbye to the ladies of Wisteria Lane with the final climactic season of “Desperate Housewives.” The stakes are at an all-time high as each of the women cope with their guilt in the aftermath of last season’s shocking murder and cover-up.

“Desperate Housewives” stars Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Van de Kamp, Eva Longoria as Gabrielle Solis, Vanessa Williams as Renee Perry, Ricardo Antonio Chavira as Carlos Solis, Doug Savant as Tom Scavo, Charles Mesure as Ben Faulkner and Madison de la Garza as Juanita Solis, with Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young and James Denton as Mike Delfino.

The beloved series’ final season is released in a five-disc DVD set features exciting bonus material including the final goodbye from the original four housewives, bloopers, deleted scenes and more.
