Tron Legacy coming soon to a TV near you

The Walt Disney Co has some big little plans for Tron.

Anxiously waiting for Tron Legacy trailer to release tomorrow. I have heard some interesting news about Tron Legacy possibly coming to a TV near you.

Blue Sky Digital is reporting that a computer-animated TV series set in the world of ‘Tron Legacy‘ is in the works. According to their site, the show will serve as a “placeholder” to hold fans over between movie ‘Tron’ projects.

The series could end up airing on any one of Disney’s TV networks, including ABC or, more likely, Disney XD. The studio reportedly hopes to push it out by late 2011 or early 2012.
