New Concept Art for Lakeshore Lodge Lobby & Lounge
Ahead of reservations opening to all guests on October 8, Disney has released fresh concept art giving us an exciting look inside Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, scheduled to open its doors on July 1, 2027.The new renderings provide a closer look at the resort’s breathtaking Grand Lobby as well as a first-ever look at Branch & Brush, an upcoming lounge space.
The Grand Lobby at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is designed to seamlessly blend the beauty of nature with classic Disney animation.
- Panoramic Views: Expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows will immediately immerse guests in the surrounding natural beauty as soon as they arrive.
- Pocahontas-Inspired Features: Taking inspiration from Pocahontas, a shimmering fiberoptic river will flow across the lobby floor, weaving around a custom bronze centerpiece created by Walt Disney Imagineers that features hidden character etchings.
- “Colors of the Wind” Glass Sculpture: Suspended overhead, a magnificent blown-glass sculpture featuring hundreds of colorful glass leaves will catch the light and add dynamic movement throughout the atrium.
Located just off the lobby, Branch & Brush will serve as a relaxed gathering spot for guests looking to unwind with handcrafted cocktails while taking in scenic views of Bay Lake.
- Ever-Changing Ambiance: Inspired by the transition of the seasons, the lounge will feature rich natural textures, rich color palettes, and curated Disney artwork.
- Color-Changing Ceiling: The centerpiece of the lounge is a dramatic ceiling installation that changes color to represent all four seasons, transforming the mood of the room throughout the day and evening.
Located along Bay Lake between Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (on the site formerly occupied by River Country), Lakeshore Lodge celebrates “the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.”
