JetBlue Added to Disney World Airport Luggage Transfer Service
Disney World guests flying JetBlue now have one less thing to lug around on vacation. JetBlue has officially joined Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer program, expanding the list of participating airlines for the service that moves checked bags between Orlando International Airport and select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

JetBlue joins American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines in the program. Airport Luggage Transfer is currently available for guests staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, which was added to the program earlier this month as the first Moderate Resort to participate.
For arriving guests, the service allows travelers to skip baggage claim at Orlando International Airport and head straight to Walt Disney World while their luggage is delivered to the resort. Guests must register between 30 days and 24 hours before their flight using their resort and flight confirmation information. Those registering more than seven days in advance can receive luggage tags by mail, while guests signing up closer to departure can still use the service and track their bags digitally. Disney advises allowing up to four hours after the flight arrives for luggage to reach the resort.

The service also works in reverse when it is time to head home. Guests can drop checked bags at their resort’s Luggage Assistance or Bell Services between 24 hours and four hours before departure, then head to the airport without stopping at the airline check-in counter. Airport Luggage Transfer is currently limited to domestic flights and remains a pilot program, so participating airlines and resorts could continue to change.
