Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is about to get significantly easier. Disney is rolling out a brand-new AI-guided website experience designed to simplify the booking process, find the best available rates, and help guests make more informed decisions about their trips.
Currently entering a limited beta test for randomly selected users in the United States and Canada, this new tool is far more than a simple chatbot. Powered by a partnership with Google Cloud and Gemini, it is a fully integrated booking interface that allows guests to describe their ideal vacation in their own words.

Search Using Your Own Words:
Instead of clicking through endless drop-down menus and filter boxes, guests will be able to type out exactly what they are looking for. For example, a user could type, “I want to stay at a resort with a great pool during the Food and Wine Festival.” The system will then process these natural language requests and generate personalized recommendations, complete with summaries explaining exactly why those specific options are a great match.

Automatic Savings and Best Rates:
One of the most frustrating parts of booking a Disney vacation is hunting for the lowest price. The new system tackles this by automatically finding and applying the best available offers. It can even combine different discounts within the same search. If a standard room is cheaper under a Florida resident discount but a water view room is cheaper under a room-only offer, the system will apply both independently to ensure you get the absolute best deal.
A new pricing and availability calendar is also being introduced to help guests with flexible travel dates easily spot the cheapest times to visit.
Interactive Maps and Resort Comparisons:
To help guests understand the sheer size of Walt Disney World, the update includes a new interactive map. This feature shows exactly where a resort is located in relation to the theme parks and other hotels. It also clearly highlights the transportation options available at each location.
Additionally, guests can now compare resorts side-by-side and ask the system specific questions, such as “Can I walk from Caribbean Beach to EPCOT?” or “Which resort has more dining options?” The tool will also feature more video tours of the resorts to give guests a better feel for the property before they book.
Saving and Sharing Your Plans:
As long as you are logged into your Disney account, the website will save your vacation preferences so you can pick up right where you left off. The tool even creates a shareable link, making it incredibly easy to coordinate plans with family and friends. If a better rate becomes available while you are taking time to think about your trip, the system will alert you when you return.
Looking Ahead:
While the beta test is currently limited to booking resorts, tickets, and vacation packages, Disney plans to expand this technology in the future to handle more advanced planning tasks like dining reservations and Lightning Lane selections.
Guests who prefer the traditional booking method or who want to speak directly with a Cast Member will still have those options available. Keep an eye out for the “guided search beta” tab on the Walt Disney World website to see if you have been selected to test out this exciting new feature!
