The Disney Destiny’s New Pumpkin Tree Unveiled
Disney Cruise Line has officially welcomed the newest addition to its spooky floating forest: Solara, the resident Pumpkin Tree for the Disney Destiny.
Ahead of the ship’s maiden Halloween on the High Seas season, Solara has taken root in the Disney Destiny’s Grand Hall. Positioned beneath the ship’s signature Wakanda-inspired chandelier, she lights up the space with vibrant, festive glows of pumpkin orange, deep purple, and eerie green.
Following the unique design tradition of the Wish-class ships, Solara features:
- A Sculpted Feminine Face: Framed by sweeping vine-like branches and glowing tendrils.
- Jeweled Accents: Embedded details throughout her bark and face that illuminate alongside the Grand Hall’s light shows.
- Glowing Jack-o’-Lanterns: Dimensional pumpkins hanging from her branches, carved with both friendly grins and spooky expressions.
Every ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet that hosts Halloween on the High Seas features its own distinct, named Pumpkin Tree in the main atrium—making Solara a one-of-a-kind addition exclusive to the Disney Destiny.
