Disney Store Makes Limited-Time Return to New Jersey
Attention Tri-State Disney fans! The magic of the Disney Store has made its grand return to New Jersey with the opening of the state’s very first Disney Store Limited Time pop-up.
Located at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, this new destination brings immersive storytelling, nostalgia, and a heavily curated line of merchandise back to suburban shoppers.
In collaboration with Go! Retail Group, the Disney Store Limited Time concept aims to bring retail magic directly into local communities. Following the initial launch of the pop-up model at Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh, PA, the Paramus location is the second of its kind.
The strategy creates flexible retail spaces where fans can engage with Disney storytelling outside of the theme parks or flagship locations. The Paramus pop-up will remain open through the 2026 holiday season, making it a prime destination for holiday shopping.

The 2,300-square-foot retail space blends classic nostalgia with local New Jersey touches.
- Traditional Opening Ceremonies: Each morning, one chosen guest gets to “unlock” the store with a large ceremonial key, preserving a beloved Disney Store tradition.
- Local Easter Eggs: The storefront features a custom New Jersey street-art display showcasing Mickey and Friends in casual streetwear. Interior touches pay homage to classic Garden State culture, including diner-themed decor with neon bagel signs, Highway 17 markers, and violet state-flower accents woven into the trim.
- Interactive Decor: Character artwork decorates the walls, while “magic mirrors” display surprise appearances from classic characters like Chip ‘n’ Dale or Maleficent.
- State-Exclusive Merch: Inspired by the popularity of NYC-exclusive gear at the Times Square flagship, this store offers location-exclusive New Jersey tees and tote bags featuring iconic Garden State imagery, including pizza slices and the Jersey Shore.
- Curated Collections: The store carries seasonal collections (including Halloween Urupocha-Chan plush and Cutie Ghost totes), Disney x Formula 1 apparel, imported items from Disney Store Japan, D23-exclusive Disney Iconics plush, and merchandise lines across Disney Princesses, Star Wars, Cars, and Toy Story.
