World of Color – Season of Light & More Coming to DCA
Get ready to celebrate! World of Color – Season of Light makes its grand return to Disney California Adventure on November 13, 2026, anchoring an incredible lineup of festive entertainment, seasonal attraction overlays, and delicious holiday bites through January 6, 2027.
This beloved nighttime spectacular brings the spirit of the season to life over Paradise Bay, combining breathtaking water effects and classic holiday tunes with moments from Disney animation favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Pixar’s Inside Out.
The holiday cheer spreads across the entire park with dynamic street performances, live music, and special character appearances daily:
- Mickey’s Happy Holidays: Dance along as Mickey Mouse and friends march alongside the high-energy Holiday Toy Drummers in a festive cavalcade traveling between Paradise Gardens Park and Hollywood Land.
- Disney ¡Viva Navidad!: Experience vibrant Latin American holiday traditions throughout Paradise Gardens Park. On select days, catch the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party featuring The Three Caballeros, mariachis, folklórico dancers, samba dancers, and Mickey and Minnie in holiday outfits.
- A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel: Head to Buena Vista Street on select days for bilingual holiday songs featuring Miguel from Pixar’s Coco.
- Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season: Enjoy live performances of hit songs from Disney’s Encanto alongside Mirabel and her friends at Paradise Gardens Park.
- Live Music & Santa Visits: Catch daily live performances at the Paradise Garden Bandstand, meet Santa at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail holiday playground, and spot Mickey and pals in their winter best along Buena Vista Street.
Cars Land goes all out for the holidays with festive wreaths, bow-adorned radiator caps, and iconic seasonal touches:
- Sunset “Sh-Boom”: Watch the land transform every evening as the festive neon lights turn on during the daily sunset “Sh-boom” moment.
- Attraction Overlays: Take a spin on Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, both featuring holiday music and decor.
Foodies can celebrate the season at the Disney Festival of Holidays, featuring six festive marketplaces packed with new recipes and returning seasonal favorites.
