While Disney has not yet formally announced an exact opening date or suite location within the outlet center, official Disney job postings—including roles for a Merchandise Inventory Specialist and Merchandise HOH Lead Cast Member—confirm that staffing and operations planning are already underway for the new store.

What Is the Disney Character Warehouse?

Unlike generic retail stores or third-party gift shops, Disney Character Warehouse locations are official Walt Disney World liquidation outlets staffed by Disney Cast Members.

When merchandise reaches the end of a seasonal event, festival, or theme park product cycle, unsold overstock and retired items are transferred from Walt Disney World Resort directly to these stores. Standard markdowns typically range from 50% to 70% or more off original park retail prices.
