Disney+, Hulu, and iHeartMedia Team Up for Major Video Podcast Expansion Led by ‘Hey Jonas!’

Disney+ and Hulu are taking another major leap into the world of video podcasting. The Walt Disney Company has officially inked a deal with iHeartMedia to bring six fan-favorite iHeartPodcasts titles directly to Disney+ and Hulu, kicking off with the launch of the official Jonas Brothers podcast, Hey Jonas!, on August 14.

The deal expands Disney’s growing digital library, introducing a rich mix of rewatch series, pop culture conversations, and comedic deep-dives. Following Hey Jonas!, subscribers can expect video editions of Pod Meets World on Disney+, alongside Desperately Devoted, Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald, StraightioLab, and Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim on Hulu (and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S.).

• Streams: August 14 on Disney+ and Hulu
• The Details: Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas host the official Jonas Brothers podcast, offering a intimate, playful, and irreverent look into their lives as musicians, actors, and brothers. The show debuts right ahead of Camp Rock 3 on Disney+, starting with an episode recapping the original Camp Rock, followed by live episodes featuring the trio at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Pod Meets World

• Streams: August 24 on Disney+
• The Details: Having already recapped all seven seasons of Boy Meets World and amassed over 55 million audio downloads, Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong are entering a brand-new chapter. The trio will dive deeper into their 30-year friendship with ’90s nostalgia, tangents, side quests, and special guest appearances.

Desperately Devoted

• Streams: November 2 on Hulu
• The Details: Take a trip back to Wisteria Lane with this Desperate Housewives rewatch podcast hosted by award-winning actress Teri Hatcher, her on-screen daughter Andrea Bowen, and her real-life daughter Emerson Tenney. The trio explores iconic storylines, behind-the-scenes memories, and broader discussions on relationships, identity, and parenting across generations.

Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald

• Streams: Fall 2026 on Hulu

Expanding the Podcast Destination

These upcoming releases build on Disney+ and Hulu’s growing “Podcasts” collection, which already houses popular licensed titles like Handsome and We’re Here to Help, rewatch shows like The Mess Around with Hannah and Lamorne, Prison Breaking With Sarah and Paul, and That Was Us, as well as official TV companion podcasts for hit series like Paradise, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, and FX’s The Shards.
