Former Disney Cast Member Accused of Stealing More Than 100 Items from World of Disney
A former Walt Disney World cast member is facing grand theft and robbery charges after authorities say she stole more than 100 items from World of Disney at Disney Springs and then changed her appearance while trying to leave the area.

According to newly released Orange County Sheriff’s Office records, 28-year-old Cynthia Elizabeth Molina of Orlando was arrested on June 12 after allegedly taking merchandise valued at approximately $2,193 from the massive Disney Springs store. The items reportedly included Mickey Mouse plush, pencils, stationery pouches, bracelets, necklaces, phone straps, and other Walt Disney World merchandise.
A World of Disney cast member told investigators that Molina was spotted near the jewelry section carrying a large reusable bag and allegedly removing locked bracelets from display hooks before placing them inside. A manager confronted her as she left the store and told her she needed to pay for the merchandise. According to the incident report, Molina brushed off the manager’s hand and continued leaving, while the manager later told authorities she pushed him, prompting him to back away and contact Disney Security.
Investigators said Molina, who was initially wearing a Toy Story shirt, then entered Raglan Road and later emerged wearing a different shirt with her hair pulled into a bun. The World of Disney employee and manager reportedly identified her to Orange County Sheriff’s deputies despite the change in appearance.

Records also note that Molina previously worked in retail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and was familiar with Disney retail procedures and cast member uniforms. Molina reportedly declined to answer investigators’ questions but accused the manager of touching her first and requested surveillance footage. She was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. The case remains pending, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
