Neil Patrick Harris to Host Disney Experiences Showcase Live on Disney+
Disney fans, get ready to grab your popcorn! The biggest theme park presentation of the year is officially streaming right into your living room. Disney has confirmed that Horizons: A Carousel of Progress, the flagship Disney Experiences showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, will stream LIVE on Disney+ on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET.
Even better? Legendary actor and ultimate Disney fan Neil Patrick Harris is taking the stage at the Honda Center in Anaheim as the evening’s official host!
Inspired by the classic attraction Carousel of Progress, the showcase promises a deep dive into the future of Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and international resorts worldwide.
Rather than just rapid-fire announcements, the presentation will center on intimate conversations with key Walt Disney Imagineering leaders and creative minds. Following up on the massive slate of announcements made at D23 in 2024, this year’s presentation will showcase how those ambitious concepts—like Magic Kingdom’s Villains Land, Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom, and new Disney Cruise Line ships—have moved from initial artwork into active construction.
